The board controls the system so there are some unnecessary rules
Sometimes takes unjustified decisions

CBSE is self-financed for all of its expenditure even though it was established by the Indian government.
CBSE is the largest exam conducting body in the world.
In the year 2020, more than 12 lakh students applied for the 12th board exam in the CBSE board, while more than 18 lakh students applied for the tenth board.
More than 91% of the tenth board students passed in 2020, while more than 88 per cent of 12th students passed.
